CPC40110-Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)


This qualification is designed to meet the needs of senior managers within building and construction firms.
All participants in this course will be over the age of 18 and literate in both written and spoken English.

The program is targeted at domestic students in an on-the-job situation. It is available for open enrolment students. The development of this strategy has been in consultation with industry advisors to respond to a need that has developed for additional educational vacancies for specialist positions that will benefit from Nationally Recognized Training.
While workers are responsible for their own outputs, work is carried out under direct or indirect supervision within defined organization guidelines.
Student will assessed for their prior knowledge, skills through pre-training review and also enrolment interview. Where appropriate RPL or credit transfer will be suggested to learners.
Volume of learning will adjusted according to learner’s cohort.

On successful completion of the CPC40110 – Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building), Graduates can study Diploma of building and construction.

Any alternative unit selection will need to be approved by the CEO and will be suitably documented with alternative Training and Assessment Strategy depicting the alternative units. The outcome for this qualification is either the CPC40110 – Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) or, should the participant depart the course before it has been completed, a Statement of Attainment for the units in which competency has been demonstrated.
