CPC30611-Certificate III in painting and Decorating
This program is designed for domestic students in an on-the-job situation. The target group will be existing painters and decorators, who has practical experience but require recognition of their skills and upskilling to Australian Standards, processes and practices, and legislative requirements to gain qualification.
Mainly the cohort will be construction workers requiring training in painting and decorating for residential and commercial construction work. Our target learners include existing employees in the building and construction industry, Apprentices and Trainees.
All participants in this course will be over the age of 18 and literate in both written and spoken English.

On successful completion of the CPC30611 – Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, Graduates can study Diploma of building and construction.
Any alternative unit selection will need to be approved by the CEO and will be suitably documented with alternative Training and Assessment Strategy depicting the alternative units. The outcome for this qualification is either the CPC30611 – Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or, should the participant depart the course before it has been completed, a Statement of Attainment for the units in which competency has been demonstrated.

From a career perspective, graduates could use the skills and knowledge learnt to significantly enhance their likelihood of employment .Under differing State and Territory legislation, students can use their certificate as evidence of completion in mandatory general induction training required for working in construction sites.
